AI solutions becoming the next expensive failure.

My proven methodology lead global transformation programs that consolidated six independent IT departments,

reduced a 50-person layoff mandate to 5,

and transformed offshoring resisters into

transformation advocates.

Shadow AI

73% of employees where you work are using unauthorized AI tools right now. They've figured out prompting, they've identified use cases, and may have even built workflows you don't even know exist.

They're using their own personal ChatGPT accounts - and a corporate policy isn't going to prevent this from happening.

Employees fear for their jobs now more than ever.  Why?

Because they're afraid of surveillance, of job loss, of looking incompetent, and of trusting leadership's real motives.

Here's what I know that most consultants don't -

Every technology transformation fails or succeeds based

on one thing:

How you manage human fears.

This doesn't happen by  sugarcoating the truth, but by leading with radical honesty and investing in people first.

My strategy was to start from the outcome and work back to today. This reverse engineered framework allowed me to evaluate and plan for employee fears at every phase of the transformation and opened my eyes to their exact reluctance to shifting work to another country or reporting into a new organizational structure.

These are the identifcal fears employees are feeling with AI.

I was able to anticpate emotional reactions throughout the entire transformation project and had developed tactical remedy to calm those fears all throughout the 12-18 months of change.

By the end, my employees were bringing me new use cases to send offshore so they could work on "better things".

That's what happens when you address fear directly instead of pretending it doesn't exist.

Course Offerings

Six Courses. One Framework.

Built to Help IT Leaders Succeed with AI.

IT Governance for AI

Reverse engineer governance from adoption backward. Walk away with: one-page project charter template, business case framework, PM scorecard, phase gate checklist, and monthly governance meeting agend all designed around adoption success, not just delivery. PS:People first planning wins.

Beginner

AI Vendor Roulette

Start with the questions that matter: Who answers the support call in 2028? What's the true total cost after year one? Can your employees actually use this, or just impressive demos? Reverse engineer from operational reality. PS: Does it REALLY work & scale?

Intermediate

AI Acceptible Use

Your employees are already using ChatGPT. They're just hiding it from you. Reverse engineer your policy from that reality: create clarity that drives underground AI back into the open where you can actually govern it. PS: Everyone is using it at home....

Start at the Future.

Work Back to Today.

The CEO read an article. The board wants AI. A vendor convinced your CFO.

Now it's your problem. You didn't choose this fight, but you're accountable for making it work.

The challenge: AI gets dumped on IT with impossible expectations - deploy fast, show ROI, ensure adoption - but none of the control needed to succeed.

Reverse engineering gives you a framework to take back control:

Start by defining what success actually looks like for YOUR organization  - not what the CEO thinks, not what the vendor promised.

Work backward to what you need: honest workforce conversations before launch, vendor selection based on your employees (not demos), governance that protects you from blame, metrics that prove progress when executives get impatient.

The goal: Stop taking the blame for AI projects that were set up to fail.

Because it's going to keep getting dumped on you.

This framework helps you survive it.

What I bring to your business

From Corporate IT Leadership to Local Harford County Business Advisory

After 25 years in corporate IT - rising from helpdesk to Global VP - I retired from the enterprise world and moved into helping local businesses make smart technology decisions. I'm not building the next startup or chasing venture capital. I'm using what I learned in corporate to help businesses like yours avoid expensive mistakes.

I've Been the Bridge Between Big Company Resources and Small Business Reality

I've integrated six acquired companies - from 2 employees to 200 - into a big corporate environment. Each was acquired for a unique new capability with unique customer needs. My job wasn't to make them "fit" our corporate mold. It was to preserve what made their individual business valuable while integrating their staff and technology into the enterprise.

That taught me something most AI consultants don't understand - cookie-cutter solutions kill what makes small businesses work.

AI vendors don't care about your niche. They care about selling you their platform.

I help you figure out if AI fits your actual business, not whether your business can be forced to fit AI.

And if the answer is no, I'll tell you what does fit.

Be sure to include how much time you spend on this operational headache each week.

Over the past 7 days, how many phone calls have you missed?

Add a heading

Your phone is ringing.

Your competitor just answered it.

How much is this problem costing your business?

62% of calls to small businesses go unanswered.

That's not just inconvenient—it's devastating to your bottom line.

Why underground AI use is
killing your corporate strategy...

Because employees already found what works.

They've experimented, failed, learned, and optimized -

quietly on their own time, with tools that actually solve their problems.

Meanwhile, the company is now rolling out AI sollutions and adoption rates are low.  Employees know the corporate tool is restricted, monitored, and gives them watered-down outputs.

So they do what anyone would do - use the real thing in private.

Bottom Line:

There's no perceived value in the corporate tool.

So they ignore it.

We know what works:

and that's building a employee focused AI culture.

That's where my governance model starts -

not with policy, but with surfacing what your people already know.

It menas giving your employees the right tools they can use without any reservations.

Workshops

Each workshops identifies the key leadership skills needed to succcesfully implement course objectives. These qualities are equally or more important than the actual framework - if you can't get it implemented it doens't matter how good the training is.

IT Governance in an AI World

The fundamental problem isn't employee compliance -

it's trust erosion and surveillance anxiety.

Employees fear AI means job elimination. They don't trust leadership's motives. When you mandate corporate AI tools that log every interaction in natural language, you're asking people to "think naturally" while being monitored.

It's cognitively impossible.

Result: People assume their natural conversations will be pulled up at their performance appraisal or saved for

"future use". The entire office quietly agrees - if nobody uses it, the program dies.

That's why 95% of AI pilots fail.

Organizations deploy transformative technology

without developing the humans first.

The 5% that succeed? They built trust, surfaced existing

AI usage, and turned early adopters into advocates.
